Food Bank Challenge
This year USD 325 is once again participating in a food drive to help support the local food bank to help stock the shelves for the upcoming holidays. If our district collects 5,000 lbs or more, we will have no school on Wednesday, Nov. 23. The challenge runs from Monday, October 31 to Friday, November 11.
There are several incentives being offered to get more high school students involved. They are:
1. Pay a dollar to wear a hat for the day
2. Pay $5 to use your cell phone during SA for the week
This will be available for the 2 weeks of the food drive.
Student council members will use the money raised to buy food to include with all the other donations. Money will be paid in Mrs. Jarvis' room (107) before or after school.
As a final incentive, total food pounds and money given will be totaled for each class. The class with the highest total will receive a sleep-in-day (you are excused from 1st hour) and breakfast pizza before you go to your 2nd hour class.
The local food bank has struggled to keep shelves stocked this year. Let's all get involved and help make this a successful project.
