I have been teaching at the Middle School for 12 years. In 5th and 6th grade computers, students focus on keyboarding skill building. In 7th and 8th grade computers, students use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to complete activities. Our technology lab has 9 modules—students spend 7 days in each module. Tech is a required class for 7th graders, and a semester elective for 8th graders. I really enjoy teaching middle school students; there is never a dull moment with them! I am married and have two sons, Joey and Jack.
