Two Open Houses and a Book Fair, Too!

Mark your calendar, meet the teachers and browse the first Book Fair of the year!
Friday, August 19th is sure to be an exciting Back-To-School evening for students, their families and staff. You'll want to catch every minute in this time of discovery: new teachers, new classrooms, new lockers and LOADS of new books!
Both Phillipsburg Elementary and Middle Schools will host "come and go" Open Houses at their buildings. Start times for the events have been staggered so families with students in both buildings have the opportunity to attend both events on Friday evening, August 19:
Elementary Open House and Book Fair:
5:00-6:00 PM at Phillipsburg Elementary School, 300 Nebraska in Phillipsburg, Kansas
Elementary students will locate their classrooms and lockers, meet their homeroom teachers and drop off supplies if they wish. Then there is time to head to the library and check out the first Book Fair of the year!
Middle School Open House:
5:30-6:30 PM at Phillipsburg Middle School, 647 S. 7th, Phillipsburg, Kansas
Middle School students will be given their book locker numbers so they can put their school supplies away if they bring them. They will also be given their class schedule so they can go from room to room to meet their teachers.
The first day of school for students is a half day only on Monday, August 22. No breakfast and no lunch will be served that day. The first full-day of school is Tuesday, August 23.
