Welcome to Phillipsburg Middle School where our focus is on creating opportunities to learn for students in grades 5 through 8. Our dedicated staff strives to support and motivate all our students to learn about themselves, their individual interests, and their unique skills through academics and activities.
Students have the opportunity to take introductory Spanish and Art, to enjoy both vocal and instrumental programs, and participate in a full range of interscholastic athletics and activities.
Our technology lab allows students to complete self-paced modules from bridge building to racing. Accelerated Reader and Star programs allow students to set and monitor their individual reading goals.
Each grade level has access to a mobile learning lab with 20 lap top computers and wireless access. Teacher advisory groups allow students from all grade levels to interact and learn the value of cooperation and positive peer support.
Our school counselor, school psychologist and school nurse support our students as they transition from elementary school and develop the independence and responsibility that prepares them for their high school years.
We are thrilled to be right “in the middle” of all the action as the opportunities unfold for our students.
Stop in at our office and we will be happy to show you what learning is like at Phillipsburg Middle School.
