Drug Testing to Resume at the High School and Junior High

The USD #325 Board of Education approved a new company to perform either an oral swab or a hair test on randomly selected students for the remainder of the school term. Those tests requiring hair will be conducted by an experienced professional who has already demonstrated to the Board, Superintendent, and Principals the correct procedure for taking a hair sample that is not visible. Student drug testing is reinstated and could begin immediately. A USD #325 employee will be present during testing. If selected for hair testing, the student’s parent will be notified the day of the test and can request to be present during testing.
