Northwest District Greenhand Conference
October 22, 2026
Today the Greenhands traveled to the Northwest District Greenhand Conference in Goodland! We had a fun day, with many of our students finding success! Ellie McClain and Jake Russell recited the FFA Creed. Jake won the contest and will represent our district at the State Creed Speaking Contest in May!! Congratulations to Wyatt Terry for placing 15th in the FFA Information Spell Down! Our students also had the opportunity to attend various workshops about leadership, personal growth, and Ag Teaching as a career. Phillipsburg FFA Alumni Layton Johnson led the Teach Ag workshop on behalf of Kansas Teach Ag! We ended the day as the 3rd overall team in our district! It was truly a great day!
