Honor Band & Choir Harmonize at Hays High

Last Saturday, several of our music students participated in the KMEA Northwest District Honor Band and Choir rehearsal and concert at Hays High. Band members were Collette Kennedy, flute; Madison Kendall, clarinet; Conlee Hugunin, trumpet; Summer Peak and Kalli Moore, trombones. Kalli Moore was selected as first chair trombone. Wow! The students in the honor band performed required music and were selected by taped auditions. Honor choir members were Evea Arment, Meredith Jacobs, Jacie Roth, Gracie Temmel, soprano; Kaycee Jerby, Meg Keeten, Ava Schemper, Darbi Spiess, alto; and Nick Schemper, baritone. The choir students performed required music and were selected by Mr. Roth. Way to go, musical peeps!
