Students were asked to create a Veterans Day poster or poem to fit the theme "Service." Our teachers judged the posters and poems, and the following students were the grade level winners: 5th graders Kalinda Meili and Dawson Bieghler, 6th graders Gabby Poels and Cleveland Corman, 7th graders Emah Shields and Ethan Knowles, and 8th grader Dakota Conrad-Farr. The best overall poem was written by Jhett Johnson, and Payton Dinkel made the best overall poster. Way to honor veterans, guys!
