On Monday Dan Klinger of the Phillips County Christian Foundation was here during MTSS to present the winners of the "My Hero" Essay Contest. Every year the 8th grade students write about a hero in their life and what this person means to them. This year’s winners were Chloe VanDerVeen and EJ Hall. Chloe wrote about her dad, Curt VanDerVeen, and EJ wrote about Mr. Gehring. They were both awarded an iPad, an iPad case, and a $100 iTunes card. Congratulations, Chloe and EJ!
