Bretton and Deines Win “My Hero” Essay Contest
Launch the media gallery 1 playerLast Friday Dan Klinger of the Phillips County Christian Foundation was here to announce the winners of the "My Hero" Essay contest. The 8th grade students wrote about a hero in their life and what this person means to them. This year’s winners were Savannah Bretton and Emma Deines. Savannah wrote about her mom, Jacque Bretton, and Emma wrote about her grandma, Rhonda Keesee. They both received an iPad, an iPad case, and a $100 Apple card. Congratulations, girls!
